1. Introduction and Who We Are
Welcome to Red Kite Pantomimes. We are a UK-based business specializing in the creation and licensing of high-quality pantomime scripts for theatre groups. By using our website and purchasing our services, you agree to comply with these terms. We aim to keep things simple and friendly, much like the community theatre we serve. By accessing our website, you agree to use it only for lawful purposes. All content on this site is our property.
2. Purchasing and Licencing Scripts
All scripts are sold under a non-exclusive license. We grant you the right to perform the script, but we retain full ownership. Licences are specifically for amateur or professional use as selected. Performance rights are granted for a specific number of shows and restricted to the agreed territory (UK unless stated). Professional groups must request a bespoke quote.
3. Payment, Refunds, and Intellectual Property
A deposit is required to be paid upfront with full payment due the week prior to staging. Once downloaded, digital goods are non-refundable. If you have made an error and not yet downloaded, please contact us. Scripts remain the property of Red Kite Pantomimes. Authorised printing is allowed for cast and crew only. Resale or unauthorised distribution is strictly prohibited.
4. Your Responsibilities and Our Liability
You must provide accurate account information and safeguard script downloads. Our liability is limited to the total price paid for the purchased script. We are not liable for production-related losses or consequential damages. Producing a show is your professional responsibility.
5. Script Changes and Customisation
Minor adjustments to local references, jokes, and songs are encouraged to suit your specific cast and audience. However, the fundamental plot, characters, and structural elements of the script may not be altered significantly without our prior written consent.
6. Data, Privacy, and Governing Law
Personal data is handled in accordance with UK Data Protection laws. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. For queries, contact redkitepantos@gmail.com.
7. Marketing Obligations
As part of your contract with Red Kite Pantos, all marketing of your pantomime including production of posters, programmes and social media publicity must include reference to Red Kite Pantos.
